Mark Hansen is a south Florida native and condominium specialist that has been assisting sellers and buyers in the Delray Beach and Boca Raton, Florida for over 27 years. He is the Director of the Luxury Condominium Division at Coldwell Banker Realty and has brokered countless sales, from oceanfront and Intracoastal condominiums to opulent single-family homes. Progressive marketing tools and extraordinary customer service enable Mark to successfully represent his clients and their properties. “I spend more time in other people’s condos than I do my own home,” jokes Mark.
The Coldwell Banker Florida 100 continues to recognize Mark Hansen as a top producer in the state month after month and he consistently ranks at the top of Real Trends America’s Best Real Estate Agents. Currently, Mark serves on the Board of Directors for the Beach Condo Association of Boca Raton, Highland Beach and Delray Beach; this role enables Mark to keep his finger on the pulse of the local condominium market, while serving the community that he works in.
Service has always been of the utmost importance to Mark. His journey to becoming a successful realtor began in the Education sector, where he served two terms as an elected official on the Palm Beach County School Board, the 11th largest school district in the nation. He also served as the President of the Board of the American Association of Caregiving Youth in 2014, and he currently serves as a Director on the board of The Boating and Beach Bash for People with Disabilities and is the Vice President of the American Disabilities Foundation. Working with these charities has allowed Mark to give-back to the local communities that he works in.
Having earned his degree in Communication from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Mark went on to receive recognition with his induction into the National Society for Collegiate Scholars at FAU, the Excellence in Education Award from Northwood University and the Martin Luther King Leadership Award from Palm Beach State College. A distinguished speaker, Mark was recipient of the Nido Qubein Scholarship Award from the National Speaker Association and the Dorothy Finkelhor Award from the Florida Speakers Association. He has written three inspirational books for young adults, given over 2,000 seminars and appeared on various radio and television programs.
While his accolades in real estate and service to the community are important, it’s Mark’s wife Jane and daughter Adriana that are his biggest inspirations. Jane shares Mark’s passion for education and has been a teacher for over two decades, while his daughter Adriana shares his passion for community service. When Mark is not with his family, he can be found with clients at area condominium buildings, doing what he does best, assisting buyers and sellers with their waterfront properties.
